Taylor takes us through her everyday curl routine for loose curls you can run your fingers through that have a lot of movement and not a touch of frizz.
Start by thoroughly brushing through your hair. Brushing wavy locks like Taylor’s may seem counterproductive (since we’ll be adding the curl right back in), but brushing before styling gets rid of any tangles that may get in the way and helps to minimize frizz.
Taylor then sprays Updo Beauty’s Argan Oil Hair Serum, Perfume & Heat Protectant over her locks. This social media star product can be used on damp or dry locks to smooth strands, protect against heat styling damage, and leave a gorgeous fragrance to the ‘do, which Taylor says smells just like coconut oil and Malibu Beach.
Whenever you style with heat, it’s important to use a heat protectant. Otherwise, the high heat causes strands to become dry and brittle, making them more likely to split and break.

To style the look, Taylor sections her hair starting from the corner of her eyes back, then pulling the rest up and out of the way. Wrap pieces of your hair around a curling wand, hold it, then move on until the whole section is curled.
After the first section is done, move on to the next section (from the top of the eyebrows down), and finish by curling the last section of hair at the crown of the head.
Once every piece is curled, run your fingers through the locks for a looser, more natural look. This gives a more tousled, beachy vibe, which fits perfectly with the hair serum’s scent. Normally, Taylor says her hair has a bit of frizz and flyaways after styling like this, but the argan oil serum kept all of that at bay.
