Transform Lifeless Locks into Beachy Waves

Transform Lifeless Locks into Beachy Waves

Refresh Your Day-Three ‘Do in Minutes

When you’re on day-three hair, you’ll notice it’s starting to look a little lackluster and lifeless. Luckily, you can add back that body and bounce you crave with just a couple styling solutions!

I start with a curling wand and add loose curls to my locks. Curling wands are perfect for this look because they don’t crimp the hair and they get those loose curls we’re going for.

I then take a dry shampoo, spray it throughout my roots, flip my hair over, and spray again. I used the Philosophy Amazing Grace Dry Shampoo because I love the entire Philosophy Amazing Grace line; not only is it affordable, but everything has this lovely fresh floral scent that’s simply, well, amazing! Philosophy is also a great brand because they’re committed to using responsibly-sourced ingredients, creating clean formulas, and using recycled materials in its packaging while having the packaging itself also be recyclable.

Next, I use the IGK Beach Club Volumizing Texture Spray, which if you haven’t tried it before, it’s a game-changer. It gives your mane volume, and although it’s salt-free, it still gives tresses a salty, windswept look without any drying crunch. To apply it, I just through my hair like a hairspray and work it through with my fingers.

If you’re like me and want some hold and extra volume at your roots, go in next with the Sexy Hair Big Spray & Play Harder Hairspray, but only at the roots themselves; everyone who has used this knows that this stuff does not mess around in terms of hold and volume. There’s also a convenient travel size of this hairspray for when you need to lock down your look on the go.

And that’s all there is to it! Just a handful of products and a spare couple of minutes can completely transform your lifeless locks into a ‘do with some attitude.
