If you have hectic mornings with no time to style your tresses or want some quick go-to up-dos, I have three simple styles you can make in minutes using just a claw clip or two.

This first style is super simple and perfect for long, thick hair.
Start by parting your hair half-up, half-down right above the ears and section off that top piece. Hold that hair where a ponytail holder would go, then use your other hand to twist the remaining hair.
Once it’s twisted, spiral that into a figure eight and leave the tail of it down, so it’s a half-up half-down knot. Using a No-Slip Grip – Magic Hidden Hinge Jaw Clip from Scunci, secure the knot at its base.
To finish this look, I like to pull out a couple of face-framing pieces of hair, or you can leave it as-is.

The second style seems almost too easy, but I promise you, it is perfect for when you’re running errands and want a cute but quick ‘do.
After creating a middle part, pull your hair back as if creating a low ponytail and secure it with one hand. Then take Scunci’s Large Tort Octopus Claw Hair Clip to hold that pony to your head instead of a hair tie. It’s really that easy!
I love this because it creates a lot of volume—whereas a ponytail holder smushes all your locks together—while keeping the hair nice and secure. To finish this volumized, not-so-tight low pony, I just like to pull out some face-framing hairs again.

For this one, we’re going to throw it back to the ‘90s and do a classic style that everyone loves: the classic French Twist.
Like with the second style, start by parting your hair in the middle and pull it back as if it’s going into a low ponytail, then secure it with one hand. Using your free hand, twist the hair and curve it around toward the hand securing it down. Once it’s twisted over, switch your hands off, twisting up toward your middle part.
Hold that twist at the crown of your head with that new securing hand, then twist the ends down toward the base and tuck them in. For a bit of extra fun, I used Scunci’s sparkly No Slip Grip Clip in the top-middle of the twist to secure it in place.
Finally, as always, I pull out a couple of face-framing layers to finish the look.
