Reviewing Philosophy’s Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette

Fragrance reviews are always my favorite kind of videos to do with eCosmetics because they have such an amazing array of fragrances. This is the place to find all of your gems at a really amazing deal, all while getting quality products.

Today I’m going to be reviewing an amazing fragrance, and I call it such because it is from the Amazing Grace line by Philosophy.

I adore Philosophy products, especially this time of year because they give me such an ethereal, dreamy vibe. They have body care products, skincare products, and products that have just enough tint to also delve into the cosmetics realm, but this brand is really cool because they make experiential products.

For all of Philosophy’s body and skincare, the packaging is virtually the same where it has a description that relates back to the philosophy of the product line. The body care products, and especially the body washes, are my favorites because if they are scented as something edible, they usually include a recipe on the package as well.

But let’s get into more about this fragrance and test it out.

I used to work in cosmetics retail, and fragrances were exciting because I could see what was popular among people and why, and for the longest time, Amazing Grace is something that flew off the shelves, especially during the holiday season. I don’t know what it is; this isn’t a holiday-exclusive fragrance

For the Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette, we have the philosophy behind it as well. Not only is this super cute, but it helps describe the essence of this fragrance. It says on the package:

“How you climb up the mountain is just as important as how you get down the mountain. How you climb up the mountain is just as important as how you get down the mountain. And, so it is with life, which for many of us becomes one gigantic test followed by one gigantic lesson. In the end, it all comes down to one word: grace. It’s how you accept winning and losing, good luck and bad luck, the darkness and the light.”

Once this fragrance is out of its packaging, the bottle is sleek, very aesthetically pleasing, and it says at the end, “it all comes down to one word: grace”

I’m so excited to finally have this scent for myself because I remember trying this on other people, but it always smells different on different skin and at different temperatures.

I feel like every time I get a new fragrance, I don’t want to wear anything else, and this smells delicious.

It’s a very light, airy scent. It’s clean, but it doesn’t smell like laundry. It also smells sweet, with just a hint of sweetness.

This is a floral fragrance, but it’s not like being hit in the face with a bouquet of roses. The top note is bergamot, which is a bitter citrus scent. That’s followed by Muguet (lily-of-the-valley) blossoms in the heart, and a nice subtle musk at the base.

It’s making me feel like a graceful ballerina.

This EDT is fresh, floral, and feminine. I feel like it’ll make anyone have a sweet and clean scent that I can’t imagine wouldn’t illicit a slew of compliments, but the ones that are more “you smell nice” rather than “your perfume smells nice.”

I would 10/10 recommend Philosophy’s Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette, especially if you’re someone who likes to wear softer fragrances, or if you prefer the softer vibes as we approach the holiday season.
