Makeup Dupe for Tarte’s Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump

Makeup Dupe for Tarte’s Maracuja Juicy Lip Plump

The Perfect Splurge to Catch the Trend from Almay

The Tarte Maracuja Juicy Shimmer Glass Lip Plump has been all over TikTok, and I think I just found the perfect dupe.

I just got my Tarte lip plump, and I also got the Almay Goddess Gloss at the same time. I tried them both and realized they looked super similar, so I wanted to test them out side-by-side.

For the Tarte gloss, I got the shade Rosy Copper. It’s very peachy in tone and decently shimmery as well. I have to admit I do love this love and formula.

While the Almay gloss isn’t a lip plumper, it is hydrating with pomegranate, grape, and raspberry oils (without being sticky, mind you) and has high shine and shimmer, which still gives the illusion of softer, smoother, plumper lips. Also, the shade ranges are very similar.

To test these two, I applied the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Shimmer Glass Lip Plump to the right side of my lips, then the Almay Goddess Gloss on the left. Seeing them next to each other, they look like I’m wearing the exact same lip.

There is a slight difference in tone between the two, but I also think the Almay gloss is shinier than the Tarte and absolutely more shimmery and iridescent.

Another huge plus? The Almay Goddess Gloss is $9 and the Maracuja Juicy was $24 when I bought it.

If you’re not trying to break the bank but want to hop on this shimmering lip trend, the Almay Goddess Gloss is the perfect dupe for you.
