Sun-Kissed, Gorgeous & Glowing for your Festival Fix

Festival season is in full force, and we’re going to do a Coachella-inspired look. When I think of Coachella, I think “sun-kissed” and “glowy,” so that’s the vibe we’re going for.

I start this look with the BPerfect Cosmetics Perfection Primer, then I’m going to go in and spot conceal where my blemishes and some redness are because we want to look flawless out in the desert. Blend that in with a wet Beautyblender.

I use the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, which corrects and blurs the appearance of age signs, dark circles, and other imperfections for a smooth, dewy complexion. I love this formula because it’s designed not to disguise, but enhance natural beauty, plus it uses magnolia bark extract, grape seed extract, and vitamin E to hydrate the skin. It also lasts for up to 16 hours, which is a must for festival makeup looks.

I’m going to do my eyebrows and I’m going to go for a fluffy, natural look. I fluff them up with the Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel, then follow that up with the Baseblue Micro Precise Brow Pencil.

I love this brow pencil; you guys need to get this. It’s ultra-slim and self-sharpening to easily give your brows lift, shape, and dimension, plus the long-wearing formula lets you draw incredibly precise hair-like strokes that last up to 12 hours and won’t smudge.

Next, I’m going to do my contour. I’m doing this first because I want to put the foundation over top to blend it all together. I go in with my Dior Backstage Foundation and mix it in with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation on my hand first, and I don’t want to fully cover up the contour, so I blend it out so just the leftovers get on top of it. I dab my Beautyblender into the foundation on the back of my hand and put it in the center of my forehead first so it doesn’t cover up too much of the contour, and just the excess blends the rest out.

I do some peachy cream blush because I feel like it gives more of a sun-kissed look, like it’s Palm Springs, you’re in the desert, and you’re giving sweaty, glowy, hot, sexy. I used the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush, but the Giorgio Armani A-Line Liquid Blush is a very similar formula. Blending this blush on top of the foundation creates that natural sun-kissed look.

Once that’s done, I put on some setting powder. The Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is 10 out of 10, so we’re going to use that. Bake it on the sides of your nose—because you want to look snatched—under the eyes, and in a downward motion along the contour of the jawline.

I always start with bronzer for the nude base of my eyeshadow because it gives a really pretty, natural look to start with. I take the Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade Private Island and swipe it on the outside of my eyelids to create a naturally lifted cat-eye effect. I’m also bronze the rest of my face after I’m set it.

Next, I go in with some concealer to do a cut crease and fill it in with the concealer. Once that’s set, I use highlighter on my eyelids. I go in with the Christian Dior Dior Forever Couture Luminizer Intense Highlighting Powder and dab it on.

At this point, I take off the bake with a fluffy brush, and you can already see how snatched that looks.

Next, I go in with some dark shadows to do a winged shadow liner for my outer corners. You can take a brown or black, whichever you prefer, but I prefer brown. Then, take the concealer on a small brush, clean up the edges, and then blend that out.

I also put some little gemstones right on the corners of that cut crease for a little glow before setting my face with the e.l.f. Stay All Night Micro-fine Setting Mist and letting that dry. After it dries, we’re going to do powders on top and then set it again.

So again, we’re going back in with that Fenty Beauty bronzer under our cheekbones, jawline, and you’re going to bring it down on your neck a bit to give you that tan glow, followed by the nose. Next, I apply the Christian Dior Rouge Blush in another very peachy tone for that beautiful sun-kissed look. I use it on the high points of my cheeks and some on my nose, of course.

I also take that same highlighter and put that on my cheekbones and the tip of my nose for a very glittery, glowy look. I like the Sigma Beauty F35 Tapered Highlighter Brush for this because you can use the tip to be very precise. I also highlight my eyebrows, and you can even put some on your collarbones because it’s so shimmery and beautiful.

After curling my lashes, I go in with some Christian Dior mascara. For my lips, I start with the Christian Dior Contour Lip Liner, but then you can use whatever kind of lighter nude lip product you love in the middle to blend that out.

After setting one more time, the final look is done. Now, don’t forget to have fun in the desert; you’re going like glowing goddesses.
