With spring in season, it’s time to update our fragrance game.
I love my signature fragrances but also like trying new things, especially when seasons change. For this spring, I want something that’s a little light, springy, and girly, so today we’re going to talk about the Miss Dior Rose N’Roses Eau de Toilette.
First off, we have to talk about this adorable packaging. Unwrapping it felt like opening up a lux gift, and inside is this beautiful bottle. The houndstooth motif engraved in the glass creates a texture on the side of the bottle that recalls menswear, while the rest is the classic Miss Dior shape and look, elegant, feminine bows and all. I love how this isn’t just a fragrance, but a décor piece.
I’m not typically a floral fragrance person, but I do love them around this time of year. The key notes in this scent are Grasse and Damascus Rose absolute, Italian mandarin, and white musk. It’s also emphasized by zesty bergamot, geranium essence, and patchouli for a fresh and lemony aroma amidst a field of delicate flowers.
This perfume gives rose and luxury, but there are undertones of a little bit of sweetness and a little bit of musk, and I love a bit of musk because those types of fragrances stay on longer and add to that overall luxurious vibe. Rose N’Roses is the perfect blend of that rose scent with the sweet and the musk without being too heavy.
Dior says it best by comparing this springtime scent to “the freshness of an armful of cool and colorful petals, the energy of citrusy dew.”
